The REImaginelution is working to gain greater insight with respect to the philanthropic needs of our Black Catholic community and to spend time dreaming together about what might be possible for our communities given a commitment to anti-racist principles and adequate philanthropic investment from the Catholic philanthropy community.
We are working with FADICA Catholic Philanthropy Network, the leading peer network of Catholic philanthropic organizations to help its Anti-Racism Ad Hoc Committee develop a coordinated anti-racism initiative with the hopes of:
· More informed and educated philanthropic funders
· New resources and / or Church partnerships for anti-racism, and
· The development of priority recommendations for Catholic-inspired funders
The initiative will be implemented through the Impact Platform within three phases: 1. Listen / Learn; 2. Discern / Validate; and 3. Act / Amplify.
The listening and dreaming sessions are the core of Phase 1: Listen and Learn.
