We are pleased to invite you to the 75TH Central States District Conference (CSDC) in St. Louis, MO scheduled for April 5-7, 2024, and hosted by the Council and Courts of the St. Louis Central Committee. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Louis, Missouri a.k.a., "Gateway to the West," the second largest city in Missouri and home to the 630-ft. Gateway Arch in Downtown St Louis. St Louis is a major center of Roman Catholicism including the miracle of St Peter Claver that took place at the Shrine of St Joseph in St Louis, MO, and home city of the Esteemed Leodia Gooch, the tenth Supreme Lady of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary.
St Louis boasts the largest Ethical Culture Society in the United States. St Louis has places of worship in the city that are noteworthy, such as the Cathedral Basilica of St Louis, home of the world's largest mosaic installation. Other notable churches include the Basilica of St Louis, King of France, the oldest Roman Catholic cathedral west of the Mississippi River and the oldest church in St Louis. The city identifies with music, and the performing arts, especially its association with blues, jazz, and ragtime. St Louis is home to the St Louis Symphony, the second oldest symphony orchestra in the United States. St. Louis is home to the St Louis Zoo, the Missouri Botanical Garden along with professional sports teams i.e., St Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball, St Louis Blues National Hockey League, and the St Louis City SC (Soccer Club) of Major League Soccer.
Conference Registration: Registration fee is $125.
All Registrations are inclusive of one ticket to the Banquet and one ticket to the Sunday Breakfast for each paid registered attendee. For your convenience, tickets are available for purchase for your unregistered guests at a cost of $55.00 for the Banquet and $32.00 for the Sunday Breakfast. Please NOTE that the Memorial Luncheon is open to all who wish to attend at an additional cost of $35.00 per attendee. Please use the forms provided and complete all the requested information. Please submit the completed Registration Form along with your payment made with a Council or Court check, money order or cashier's check by Friday March 15, 2024. Hotel Reservations:
The Conference site hotel is the Hilton St. Louis Airport Hotel, 10330 Natural Bridget Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134. This modem hotel offers sophisticated comforts, spacious rooms, productive workspaces, restaurants, gym and free parking and internet. Room Rates: Single/Double Occupancy $135 per night and are subject to the applicable state and local occupancy taxes. Room rates will be in effect from Thursday, April 4, 2024-Monday, April 8, 2024. The hotel check-in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is 12:00 pm. Staying in the room (without requesting a late check-out) beyond check out time may result in billing of one (1) additional night's stay. Check with the hotel for extended stay days before and after the conference at the group rate. Transportation:
The hotel provides a free 24- hour shuttle to and from the St. Louis Airport. The Hilton is a half-mile from St. Louis Airport. Car rental services are streets away, and we are less than two miles from airport rail links. Within a half-hour, reach The Gateway Arch and downtown St. Louis. Benefits include the park and fly options, airport super shuttle, local taxi and Uber services are available for transportation between the airport and the hotel at reasonable rates. On-site parking is available for those that are driving.
Banquet:
Come dressed to impress in your "Cocktail Attire" for the banquet on Saturday evening. This is an opportunity to socialize and network with all the Knights and Ladies of the Central States, visit with those traveling from other districts, and to honor those who have made significant contributions to our Order. Afterwards, join us for "T-Shirt and Jeans Game Night" where we will socialize, and partake in your favorite card games.
